Interviews have been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances

The Uganda Prison Services has postponed the recruitment of warders and wardresses. The postponement follows an advert for recruitment of warders/wardresses in Uganda Prisons Service which appeared in different media in August this year.
The recruitment was supposed to be between November 16 to 21 this year, according to a statement signed by D. Ahimbisibwe, on behalf of Commissioner General of Prisons Dr. John Byabashaija
However, the Commissioner General issued an update; noting that the interviews had been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, and that another date for the interviews would be communicated later.
Several prospective candidates had applied and had been shortlisted and read for the interviews that had been scheduled to be conducted in different regions from mid this month.
